I need urgent advice...
I need to leave my husband as his emotional abuse is destroying me and now my daughter has no respect for me as she is copying him.
But I have no money, we own a house together and I can’t leave my house due to the children.
So my question is how can I get him removed out of the house and if I apply for single parenting payments how fast is it approved? I also have a 10k debt due to my husband not doing his taxes will this effect me? Any help advise would be greatly appreciated

You cannot get him out of the house I’m sorry to say. If you want to leave, you need to be the one to up and go xxxx
Unfortunately making him leave is not going to happen. If it’s his income paying the mortgage then you wouldn’t be able to stay long term anyway, so by him moving you are just delaying the inevitable.
Contact 1800respect for advice, you may also find it helpful to talk to a Centrelink Social Worker. You could also think about applying for Parenting Payment Single ‘separated under the one roof’.
Separated under one roof requires an reasonably amicable situation though as the ex partner is required to fill out forms and they normally need references from friends and family to back up the claim. It's very hard to get approved (for good reason)
Contact Centrelink and your bank. Explain that you are in a DV situation and they will assist. Get help from 1800RESPECT. Do you have a friend that you can trust.
