Working on a mental health theory, assistance appreciated :-)

Working on a mental health theory, assistance appreciated :-)

Good Evening Ladies,

I am working on a theory within myself and it got me thinking...surely I CAN'T be the only one suffering through this. So I was wondering if our lovely community would answer some questions for me? Especially those that were or are young mums.

1) Do you suffer from depression/anxiety or another mental illness?
2) Were you between the ages of 15 (or younger) and 20 when your first child was born?
3) How old is your eldest child now & the ages of other children (if any)?
4) How long have you had your mental illness?
5) Do you feel your prescribed medication is working?
6) Do you feel lost within yourself?
7) Have you tried other means to navigate your mental illness? Successfully?
8) Would you be willing to discuss your situation with me? And potentially network with others?

If my theory is right, then OMG, I will be shocked. And I will take the next steps. If my theory is wrong, well, at least I will learn alternate ways to attempt to navigate life :-D

If you would rather not post publicly, and would like to pm me, feel free :-D

Good luck.

Hi all, this is my post and I am sincerely sorry if it has come through the wrong way. It is not a sales pitch, nor is it a research study. It is for a personal theory I have about the way I feel. To make you all feel more at ease, these are my answers:
1) Do you suffer from depression/anxiety or another mental illness?
Yes, anxiety and depression.
2) Were you between the ages of 15 (or younger) and 20 when your first child was born?
Yes, 19
3) How old is your eldest child now & the ages of other children (if any)?
20, 19, 17, 15
4) How long have you had your mental illness?
14 years
5) Do you feel your prescribed medication is working?
No
6) Do you feel lost within yourself?
Yes
7) Have you tried other means to navigate your mental illness? Successfully?
Yes, and not yet. Looking into all different kinds of ways; yoga, meditation, hypnosis, therapy, self-medicating. Currently looking into CBD, DMT, how my hormones affect my mood,
8) Would you be willing to discuss your situation with me? And potentially network with others?
Yes, I would love to.
So the reasoning behind this is, I love to research, anything to do with the brain and how I feel is interesting to me. I’m tired of being tired, I’m tired of overthinking, I’m tired of feeling like shit about myself, but putting on a brave face to the rest of the world. I’m not suicidal, my life is great, I have a great man who after 8 years still loves me, I have super awesome kids, I have a fantastic supportive family, I have few friends, I have a great job that I love, I have a roof over my head, electricity and food, I have a beautiful dog who IS my best friend, I don’t know why I feel like crap.
My partner has his own mental illness and was watching a podcast by Joe Rogan on TRT (testosterone replacement therepy). Apparently testosterone plays a massive part in mens mental health ( which neither of us ever knew), my partner got a blood test done (well, they do 3 actually) and we found his testosterone levels were extremely low. Dr prescribes TRT in the way of a gel (which is applied to the stomach once a day) and within a week, we noticed the difference in my partner…an awesome difference. I started thinking, I wonder if estrogen affects the female brain in a similar way? Hmm… I had my hormone levels tested on Friday and get the results Tuesday.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar thought or if I could start a network of women who would be interested in knowing.
So again I apologise if my question came across the wrong way.
