My 8YO son keeps saying he's wet himself and there's a drop of pee about the size of a 50c piece in his undies. He says he has no control over it. I think I have ruled out anything untoward having happened to him so wondering if anyone has any other wisdom and advice? Thanks!

Urine infection?
Is it an ongoing issue, or something more recent? Is he not shaking the final drips away before pulling his undies up and thinks he’s wet himself because those drips end up on his undies? If you’re concerned take him to your GP to rule out UTI or bladder infection. If you or the doctor feel further investigation is needed, he can be referred for a renal ultrasound. You’ll be given instructions when the booking is made, but he’ll need to drink a set amount of water, have an ultrasound, go to the toilet to empty his bladder, then go back for another ultrasound to ensure his bladder has fully emptied.

He might not be 100% finished then pulling his undies up!
