Hashimotos and weight loss

Hi, has any one been diagnosed with hashimotos disease and successfully lost weight?

I am so lost. I am not medicated as I was able to get my levels down by doing the aip diet. But regardless of cutting all the bad foods out I am still not losing weight. My meal portions are good, I've checked with the doctor. I'm drinking plenty of water and exercising. I'm not suffering from any symptoms at the moment for the first time in years, I am just not sure what to do to lose weight.

I know everyone is different but can you tell me what worked for you?

You might benefit from visiting a registered dietitian and speaking with them. In Australia you can be referred by your GP for Medicare subsidised sessions with dietitian. They may be able to shed some light on foods or amounts to eat and help address any areas you may not have considered.
