Hi. I am intending to buy my child a GPS watch for Christmas as she is starting high school next year and I'd like the extra security and safety this offers. I was just wondering if anyone has an opinion between Spacetalk and Mooshies? I can't really decide. Thanks.

Just a word of advice... not sure how popular a GPD watch would be with a high schooler. Get a smart watch, not Spacetalk etc. Just think once someone at school notices a watch for young kids, she wont want to wear it.
I wouldn’t be buying a high schooler a gps watch, they are marketed for younger kids. Probably better with a smart watch or just a mobile phone.
As others said, a smart watch. Avoid the kiddy style GPS watches they are for much younger children.
Agree with other posters. Don’t get a kiddie gps watch for a high schooler.
Get them a smart watch or phone and install the ‘find my family’ style app that both android and Apple have which allows you to track your child and sends you an alert if they go somewhere out of the normal areas
I've never heard of those. My kids all have phones for the convenience of having everything in one device .
My son's $99 fitbit has GPS.
That way you've got the spec you're after and she gets a cool watch.
Although, I conceded and got him a phone for his first year of high school because that way we have 2 way communication if need be.
Get them a phone, or a Galaxy or Apple smart watch with a sim. Honestly. Those kiddie watches are next to useless anyway and your kid will never hear the end of it from their peers if they have a watch like that in high school.
She will get picked on, just get her a phone
