why mother is answerable to criticism

Hi
Just out out of curiosity, why do we have imperfect mum blog but no imperfect dad? Why is it that always mother is criticized but father is left alone. Why mother is always answerable to whatever she does or did not do? I have never heard of a man feeling guilty over issues being discussed here. No one can understand child better than mum.

I'm sorry but to me your post sounds very resentful. We have a few Imperfect Dad's who have written in and who reply.
No one is perfect, including Dad's. My husband constantly second guesses if he is doing the right thing by me and our family. He often ask's me if he is a good enough Dad. He has a lot of parent guilt.
Society has made it acceptable for woman to be emotional, to second guess and yet the man has to be "strong" and heaven forbid if they cry,
We have had some absolutely amazing advice from Imperfect Dad's on here, who have opened up their hearts, admitted their faults, asked for opinions etc.
In most cases yes, we mothers understand our child better, but not in ALL cases. It's because usually we are with them more then Dad, but this is not always the case.
