Unpaid Superannuation

Unpaid Superannuation

Looking for advice on unpaid Superannuation. Cut a long story short, my husband worked for a company for 10 years before they went bankrupt (this happened about 10 years ago now). He was paid out his leave but has realised they never paid into his superannuation. What are the chances of getting his superannuation paid after all this time?

None, it would have been difficult to get it at the time it went bankrupt.

Sadly none.

For bankruptcy, none. During the liquidation process he would have had a claim to register but it's still unlikely he would have gotten it.

This happened to me when my employer went bank rupt. Legally they do not have to pay into ur super each pay but do have to pay it in full by end of employment. I didn't but my work mate took it to court, but due to the company going bankrupt they had no money to pay th super. In the end it cost my mate thousands for nothing.
