With such little information it’s hard to give advice.
What lead to your relationship being un supportive and sexless?
You know staying in a relationship that lacks emotional support and a loving connection, IS detrimental to your kids. And even more so then them growing up with two happy but separate parents.
You want your sons and/or daughters to seek fulfilment from their own relationships later in life, and to know the perfect examples of things they don't want. To show them its completely okay to walk away from things that don't serve them.
You too, need to learn to this.
You need to put yourself first. Kids need a happy mum!
I'm in the same boat, not sure when you know.
Don't ever stay because of the kids, you'll end up losing yourself and your kids will start losing their mum. It's never easy leaving a marriage but it's even harder staying and allowing yourself to fall deeper into unhappiness. Trust me, you'll know when it's time to leave. I wish you all the best mumma xx
