I’m a single parent of 4 under 10. My ex pays me child support privately, at the rate child support tell him to. Over the past 3 years he has under estimated his income and now owes me $7200.
This now means I will have a family tax a/b debt with Centrelink. 😣 They haven’t sent me any details yet, but does anyone have any idea where I can calculate how much I will owe back or know an estimation themselves?
TIA

Your best bet is probably just to put the amount he should pay you into the centrelink but where you estimate your payments then work out how much you’ve been overpaid that way.
If you’re privately collecting they might not contact you at all. Xx they may assume you’ve been collect the right amount all along. Finger crossed for the nest xx
That's only about 2 and a half thousand a year it probably won't be a huge Bill.
