Any lovely ladies able to help me out with small/medium SVU recommendations? Im looking at spending about $20K... I live in the city, so not country roads etc. I'm driving a RAV4, so looking at something similar size... I'm looking at RAV4, Nissan X trail, Mitsubishi ASX, or anything similar.

I have an x trail and love it, it's served me well for 6 years without a problem! Great boot size and drives really well, easiest car I've had to park. Mine is 2013 model so it has that old square shape but you would easily get one of the newer models for 20k, they look very sleek.
I have a Hyundai Santa Fe. I bought it second hand - 8 years, 200000km and 4 kids later itās still going strong with no major mechanical problems
I looked at several SUV's last year and ended up with a Kia Sportage. Very happy with it, mine was dearer as I went with a diesel but the base petrol model would be closer to your budget.
KIA Sportage, 100%. 7 yr warranty and reasonable service pricing.
2019 rav4 is awesome. Wireless phone chargingš. asx is crap, low power. Lo Santa Fe are awesome cars too.
I brought a tucson 2 months ago. We went with 2019 plate model elite x (I thibk it was) and I am absolutely in love. I looked into most of your suggestions and the tucson won it for me. No regrets what so ever... (although I fell inlove with the kia sorento but it's just $30,000 over my price range).
My price range was around 30k and spent 33.
RAV4!!! Cheaper on fuel than the others, lighter if you actually want to do any 4x4 and super reliable
I have a Mazda cx5 that I wouldn't change for anything BUT of the brands you mentioned the Kia would be my next option and when I was looking at buying I asked several people who had the asx and they gave me a resounding NO! they all said that it would lose traction easily and didn't feel nice to drive either.
Have to say i use to lovveeee my mitsubishi outlander and regret that i sold it š
We just got a Mazda CX-7 in the diesel sport. It is fantastic! Feels very swishy
Hyundai Tucson
We spent about six months last year researching and test driving small SUVās. We ended up with the Mitsubishi ASX.
Great value. Excellent fuel economy. Not a huge boot but itās our second car.
Excellent safety features.
Lovely to drive. Great engine. The other one we narrowed it down to was the Kia Seltos. But itās a bit pricier.
I have a 7 seat (diesel) Santa Fe 2016 model. Very comfortable car and so cheap to run. Have had it 12 months and there has never been an issue
