Has anyone had a hysterectomy after c-section? I have had 2 emergency caesars and have been told my next baby will be a scheduled. I'm fairly certain my third will be my last but am still 15-20% unsure. I'd love to hear other experiences.

Do you mean tubal ligation or actual removal of your uterus? I'm a midwife and I'm pretty sure that unless there is a medical problem that calls for it, they will not just remove your uterus...

Complete removal. My mother had pre cancerous cells and had a removal. I'm just curious.
I was same as u had two emergency sections and 3 rd was planned suchc a different experience instead of emergency ones so calm and peaceful. Anyway because we where sure our 3 rd was our last my dr really pushed for tubal ligation but due to a family history of having issues with this i decided not to have it done and hubby bit the bullet and had the snip but if their is a family history of cancer I don't think I would have any issues whipping it out if I was curtain I was finished having kids
