How do you go about getting a divorce?
We are both amicable and have 50/50 shared care of our 2 children and I’m just wondering how you go about getting a divorce in qld.
I’ve seen a few sites advertising it for as little as $190 but then I see the courts filing fee is about $900? Can someone share their insight please.

$190 would be the cost for purchasing some kind of divorce kit/service, that talks you through the process. The actual divorce costs $900. You can get a reduction on that under certain circumstances.
It’s easy enough to apply yourself online without a kit if everything is already sorted and agreed to.
The forms are online, free and quite simple.thw divorce fee depends on circumstance but it's all laid out on there.

Divorce in QLD is pretty easy. Just fill in the court forms online. If you’re both (joint application) eligible for a concession rate (either a health care card/pension card or eligible under financial hardship) you’ll get the divorce for about $305. If only one of you are eligible for the reduced fees then one person can apply alone as a single applicant.
If you’re amicable then you could agree to split the cost between you both regardless if you’re able to get a reduced fee or not.
Hope that makes sense lol
Good luck.
