Hey everyone,
My sons step mum is pregnant with her first baby. With Mother’s Day coming up, I want to buy her something to make her comfortable and to help her out with pregnancy/newborn zombie time as I know my sons father isn’t doing anything to help her out financially, he doesn’t work or help around the house(her words...but also my experience). She’s a fantastic person and the most wonderful step mum I could ask for for my son. She’s also tried for over 2 years to get pregnant so she absolutely deserves someone to acknowledge her. I tried for her birthday and ended up getting a nursing pillow and a nice thermo mug because I remember all the cold cups of tea with a new born however my son is 10 and he’s my only child so it’s been a long time for me and I can’t really remember a lot from that time plus there’s a whole lot of new products now. So my question is what products or things did you use being pregnant or having a new born that made your life easier? Even just the small stuff. I could make a hamper or just get one big thing thats worth it. Im open to any suggestions.
Also, just following on from this, I’m currently in the process of doing a big scrapbook for the new baby with a time line and photos of my son. The only title I can think of is ‘me before you’ but I don’t think that sounds right. Any suggestions?

Maybe a HelloFresh box for a week or two? So she doesn’t have to leave the house and has ingredients for dinner :)
The most helpful thing for me has been meals. It’s so easy to forget, especially with your first, to eat properly so to have meals in the freezer I can just pull out is amazing

Maybe a massage voucher or a hand made voucher for you to come tidy the house after Bub is born.
Although I guess it’s supposed to be something from your son so maybe a bottle warmer or a pair of slippers to keep her feet warm on those cold nights or maybe a hair voucher for when they re open
