Sorry if it’s a bit TMI. I had a period about two weeks ago which was slightly heavier than normal (few clots) after about 4 days it seems to slow down but for the past 10 days I’ve had a brown (old blood) discharge. Enough for a panty liner (not pad or tampon). I’m 42, I have a history of PCOS and ovarian cysts. No pain, but some bloating which is uncomfortable. Same sexual partner for 10+ years (who had a vasectomy 7 years ago). I’ve called the dr and been referred for a pelvic scan but I am worried about what’s happening. Very unusual for me. Dr thinks maybe peri menopause?
