Laparoscopy and the bathroom

I had a laparoscopy to excision endometriosis on Tuesday, while they got rid of the endometriosis they found I had appendicitis’s so fixed that up too
Which is great however now I have a lot of stitches in my bowel because my appendix was attached to the bowel, and I’m terrified to go to the toilet.
I have stool softener and such but I have this fear I’m gonna start bleeding everywhere and die, I know it’s silly but I’m so scared
Has anyone else been through this and can help my fear?
