Baby refuses bottle, help!!

Baby refuses bottle, help!!

After some advice as I'm going a little insane with being house bound with my little man who is refusing to take a bottle. I had the same trouble with my 2nd born who also refused, ended up breast feeding him till he was 11months before he finally took one. My 5 month old used to take a bottle when he was younger if I had to go out, but now he flat out refuses. I've tried different bottles, different teats and flow rates, expressed breast milk and formula but he just plays with it and won't suck. He won't take it for anyone else either. I need to wean him off my breast so I can return to work and study ( and take a little me time kid free too). Any other parents had this problem? And any other tips to try that I haven't already?

You could try a speech pathologist that works with feeding issues. They can help prompt your baby to use the correct action. Have you tried a spout cup?

My second child did this, at 4 mths really hard time for him as I lost all my milk due to stress of FIL passing away and he was hungry I ended up putting alittle of his favourite food on the end of the teat they get the taste of the food and suck it enough to get the milk. It will take a few times but once they figure milk is their he should suck
