I'm expecting a boy. My husband wants him to be circumcised, because he had it done at 10 yrs and doesn't want him to go through that. I've read that it's not necessary to pull back the foreskin until boys get older, but I'd love to hear from mums with uncircumcised boys a) did he have any foreskin issues b) when did his foreskin pull back c) did you ever pull it back yourself to clean him?

I have 2 boys.. 3 years and 12 months. Neither have been circumcised, I haven't had any issues yet.
I have a 20 year old, uncirumcised son. Never had a single problem. Make an appointment with your GP with your husband to discuss the risks/benefits and details.
My two (almost three) year old isn't circumcised, I've never had any problems. I never pulled his foreskin back either, he is starting to do it himself now but my doctors told me not to do it until he does it himself. There are pros and cons to each. But it used to only be done for hygienic reasons. Best bet would be to speak to your doctor and weigh they up to what you like the most :-)
My son is 4 & isn't circumcised. We've never had an issue & were told never to pull his skin back as it will do it itself when it's first ready to, & from then on to teach him how to.
My son is 7 and intact and has never had an issue. You aren't meant to retract it until they do it themselves and my son now pulls it back to clean
I have 2 boys neither are circumcised, my youngest son has no problems and his foreskin pulls back quite easily and I have never had a problem with it, it's been pulling back for years he is 5 and a 1/2 . My oldest son has to undergo circumcision for medical reasons I can't get him to pull his back he is 7 and a half and its opening has been the size of a matchstick for years the doctors have only recently allowed him to have it done and now we are on the public waiting list. I am actually quite upset that my son is going to have to go through with it. I could never imagine someone trying to cut the tip of my nipple off and I believe that's what it would be similar to if it was done to us as women.
My husband recently was circumsized due to health reasons his 28. He had day surgery was up walking and hour after surgery and home within 2 hrs. They prescribed panadole forte but he didn't need that strong a pain meds he was quiet for a few days then pretty much back to normal. Just thought I would give an adults perspective on having it done
My MIL has 6 boys in their 20s and 30s, all uncircumcised and they have never had any issues with their foreskins.
I have 2 boys (2 and 4) neither circumcised and no problems. I don't pull back the foreskin either to clean it, my eldest son can pull his back on his own from about 3. My brothers are also both uncircumcised and from what I know neither has had any problems, they are both well into their 20s. This is a personal decision and the best way to get all the information is to talk to a doctor.
No offence but I honestly think women really have no idea about this. Why not talk to a bunch of different men - both circumcised and not - and get their opinions. Yes most women have an opinion about it but we don't have a penis. Talk to those who do, discuss their experiences and then make your decision.
Personally think in regards to circumcision it should be the fathers decision
