Constant nausea and tiredness

Constant nausea and tiredness

I'm just over 7 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and for the last 3 weeks I have been feeling constantly tired and extremely nauseous. I have had morning sickness before but nothing like this. Most of the time my stomach has a kind of empty feeling and yet the thought of eating....uugghhhh. I have to force myself to and usually feel worse after I do. I have no energy what so ever and it is a daily struggle to leave my bed. I have been getting some terrible headaches and having some messed up nightmares too.
Add these together with trying to still be a good mum to my other kids 8 and 1 and have time to keep my partner happy too. I am a mess. Somedays I feel like I am just going to lose it.
I just want to know if any of you had experienced something similar? Is this all normal? Etc
TIA xx

maybe it's the "number 3" curse,I was much the same in my first & 3rd trimester with my 3rd baby- it eased in the 2nd trimester & that's when I did most of my organising :)...rest as much as you can,try to do all the things you "should" do & try not to worry 'bout the rest- it'll all fall into place. :) hope that helps & good luck

Hi there. I just logged in for the first time and went to post the exact same question!
Im 8 weeks and struggling so bad with constant nausea. to the point where I can hardly work I just feel sick all the time. Ive tried maxalon. Ginger tablets. Every time I eat I feel sick then im starving then im sick again. I was never like this with my first :(
I have no advice cos I have tried everything. . But I can sympathize with u its horrible. Fingers crossed it gets better at 12 weeks xo
Congrats on ur pregnancy! Will be following this post with u :)

I was similar this time round.. Turned out to be very low in iron. Once I started iron supplements it eased so much, even morning sickness has settled greatly.

Had low iron during my other pregnancies but didn't even consider that could be the issue as it never affected me like this, I didn't even realise it could. Will start supplements tomorrow and see how I go. Thank you so much :)

It took a few days to help with tiredness n dizzy spells but about a week to slowly settle my morning sickness.
my morning sickness started from conception this time around n low iron from week 6. Was not expecting it this early at all. A few weeks later and I was fine.
now week 15 and barely know I'm pregnant because my side effects (lol) aren't there.
its amazing what iron levels do.
