Hi,
Hope you are well and having a beautiful weekend 😊
Please accept my apology, English is my Second Language
I am a mum to a two years old boy and planning my special day.
I keep getting mixed opinions ,comments and suggestions about what I should do, but I feel like it mind and my partner special day.
Would like to ask all the mummies out there that had their wedding day in Cairns, what are an average amount they have spend on wedding in Cairns for how many guests, and where they had their special day ?
Or what they think it a suitable amount to spend on wedding?
Any recommendations on anything is great, photographer, florist, celebrant, venue, I am also trying to do lots of DIY to save cost
I am just trying to get opinions on weather spending $15,000 for around 45 Guests including everything for the day is ok? This included venue hire, food, drinks, photographer, celebrant, music ,hairs and make up, styling decorations, flowers ,cake, beach hire fee, gifts for guests, dress, groom outfit, outfit for one maid of honour, best man, paigeboy ,and everything from start to finished, including two nights stay at Palm Cove , we are paining for all of our bridal and groommen outfit , we are planning to save extra so we can go on a family holiday to New Zealand for about 10 days afterward.
Yes, I understand it seem like lots for one day
Location at a very popular restaurant in Palm Cove , we are doing a three course meals for all of our guests
Some people are saying I spend to much and some people think it a good amount
I have try to do most things myself or buy things secondhand or on special for the big day too.
Thank you to everyone 😊
Thank you and Kind Regards,

That actually sounds very reasonable for what you have planned. Not expensive at all.. I remember reading somewhere that in Sydney $40000 is the average spent, noe that’s crazy!!! Your day, do it your way! If you can afford it go ahead. Personally I wouldn’t be borrowing to pay for a wedding as I wouldn’t want to start a marriage with a debt like that over my head and on the other side I wouldn’t stings as it’s a once (well ultimately) in a lifetime thing!

I think 15k is quite reasonable for that package, in the end if it’s what you and your partner want then don’t worry about others opinions
