Hey Sisterhood,
My son is 3 and 4 months old and he weighs 13kg. I've checked his bmi and he is still in the healthy weight range but on the light side. He's an extremely active kid but will only graze when it comes to meal times. I make sure there are snacks available but he rarely wants them. I wasn't concerned about his weight until my mother in law made a comment about how thin he is. Do you think I should be encouraging him to eat more and if so how do I do that?

Nope, he will eat when he’s hungry as long as he’s getting a wide range of foods, my almost 10yo weighs 22kg, he’s below the 5th percentile but drs aren’t worried and he eats like a horse
Nope!
Nope kids are so good at self regulating! If he was dropping weight for no reason that may be cause for concern. But if he eats well and is active let him be
Get his iron checked...2 of my kids where poor eaters and ended up with low iron stores....once we got an infusion for 1 his appetite began to grow and he was eating alot better.
