Today I had an ent appointment for hearing loss and tonsillitis constantly, while he agreed I need the tonsils out he thinks I have an Auditory Processing Disorder
I don’t know the first thing about it, I’m 25 so I’m wondering does anyone know about getting diagnosed and what help I could get to make my life better
I feel like I miss out on so much cuz I struggle
With conversations. I’d appreciate any help

My son has this and I think I would have it more mildly too. First step is to get a medicare plan for a speech therapist and they can assess if you have it and what sort of delay your dealing with. There isn’t a lot of great info on it on the internet so I’d grab something whilst at the speech therapist.
