Hi,
A year since my daughter met her sister is coming up, they will 12 & 13 on the anniversary. I'm after ideas of what they can do, to mark the occassion. I want to help them start a tradition, so they celebrate it every year. I've just got no clue what they can do.

Do you mean step-sister? I am so confused.. what is important about the meeting to celebrate it? If I understood it better I could have some ideas I think :)
They are half sisters, they have the same Dad. They only found out and met each other almost 12 mths ago. I want to surprise them with something special to celebrate it but I've got no clue what to do.
A mini pamper day - send them to get their nails done together and then go see a movie together :)
A photo shoot? Themed ones are always a hit!
Why don’t you ask the girls IF they want to do something and what they’d like to do.
The only people who should be deciding if this is important and what they want to do are the girls themselves.
My brother and sister in law met an older half sister at 12 and 14 (she was 16). They all would have found something planned very uncomfortable. Why not just mention casually it's been a year and that you're pleased it happened.
The girls have lived with me for the past 5 mths, they are best friends and super close.
Sisters day date. Something they can continue when they're adults
Pamper day at the local tafe. Manis, pedis etc and big girls lunch out at a nice restaurant.
Dinner and movies
What about a professional photographer do a photo shoot of them? Or if you know someone with a good camera, take them to the botanical gardens, beach at sunset etc
