Implanon and conception.

Hello!
I apologise if this has been brought up several times.
Few questions regarding the implanon. Background info: I've had it for about a year now, so far so good. I had a light, week long period almost exactly at the 1 year mark since it was inserted but that's been the only one.
I'm curious to hear from other mums regarding having it removed. How long did it take before first period? Did the cycle automatically go back to normal or did it take time? Most importantly, How long did it take you to get pregnant after getting it removed? (Getting it taken out in hopes to conceive!!)
Also, since getting it (or since having first bub not sure) I have extremely struggled to lose weight despite all efforts. Has anyone found this to happen to them?

Thanks for your time!

Hi, I had mine in for not even a year had terrible sight effects but no bleeding.
Got it out about 1 month ago and still no period which I'm bummed about because we want to start trying for another baby. Also I just wanna get it so my body starts to feel a bit normal again, sorta reboot itself lol.
Weight gain was one of the bad sight effects I had so I know how you feel. And I struggled to lose any while it was in, even if I ate great and exercised heaps I still didn't lose a kg.
Definitely didn't agree with my body, it works great for some people but I'll never get it again.
I'm praying my P comes soon.
Good luck to you I hope you conceive soon xx
