Personal Loan Legal Advice

Hi, I am after any advice please? I broke up with my ex partner just over 2 years ago, we had a Personal Loan together in both of our names. I have been paying it as I know he won't otherwise I default and get a bad rating. Is there any Legal Avenue I can go through that anyone could advise to get him to start paying it at all?
