I had my tubs tied when I had my third baby (csection). Afterwards my periods where worse then before my third baby was conceived! I was needing to change my pad during the night because it was so full and would I would wake in a pool of blood if I didn’t (sorry for tmi) and during the day change a heavy tampon every hour (sometimes every 30mins) for the first two to three days. I had an ablation as well as a merina nearly two years ago. Was fine to go back to work the next day, very light bleeding for weeks (no need for a panty liner). I now sometimes have bleeding during my cycle, but extremely minimal and it can last for one to two weeks when I do. It was the best thing I ever did!
I had the procedure about done 6 weeks ago, without the tube removal. I had about 2 days of period like pain, about 2 weeks of spotting and then nothing after that. No periods no pain no pms it’s been heaven. Wish I did it years ago. My only advice is to grab yourself some ponstan from the chemist works better for the cramping than paracetamol.
