Last year I had what I thought was a spirit communicating with me. She was talking with me and I could feel her. She was also causing my arm and hand to go numb at times. She was needing help to finish things for her on earth and help to pass as she was stuck .This was ok with me until mental health decided I had Bipolar and was phychotic. They put a treatment order on me and I was put in a phychiatric hospital for 2 weeks. I've since had 2 readings with a medium who verified everything that I experienced as a spirit. Has anyone else had spirits communicate with them?

No. Read this. And please avoid that medium at all costs she has no way to verify she just said words you want to hear for money, please continue getting help for your mental health.

This is probably not what you want to hear, but please listen to the health professionals, not someone who claims to be in touch with spirits.
Oh hun.
Doctors have no ulterior motive, and absolutely nothing to gain by diagnosing mental health issues you don't have.
Psychics and mediums stand to gain one thing - $$$$$.
The reason they are so successful is because they tell their clients exactly what they want to hear.
If you feel the Bi polar diagnosis isn't right, I implore you to seek another opinion within the medical field because doctors genuinely have your best interests at heart, people in the spiritual business do not, they merely prey on the vulnerable!
Hi IM,
I’m going to say this bluntly and I apologise but it needs to be said.
The fact you’re still even questioning this just shows that mentally you are unstable. A “spirit” doesn’t make your hand go numb or tingly. The fact you’ve even given “her” a persona shows you’re psychotic. I don’t know why you consulted a medium however I really suggest checking yourself into rehab and try and sort these out and recognise what you’re experiencing is unnatural and unhealthy.
Ugh, the medium told you what you wanted to hear.
I’m sorry, but you can not trust mediums and psychics. They tell you what you want to hear so you will come back and pay more money. Not to mention that the vast majorities ‘abilities’ do not stand up to any kind of scrutiny.
You have to be behaving in a very ‘out there way’ in order to get put on a mental health order. There are more people who need placement in psychiatric units than there are places, so the fact you got a placement and doctors felt you needed to be held means there was a lot going on for you that you haven’t acknowledged. The doctors get nothing out of checking you in over another potential patient.
I have seen a ghost but I was only 12 and way too scared to understand any messages if any at all. She stood at the end of my bed with arms outreached it still gives me anxiety now thinking about how scared I was but I'm not scared of ghosts now, just very interested in them. If the mediums had no heads up on your experience then I would trust them. How did the bipolar diagnosis come about? Did you go to the Dr telling him what happened or were there other factors involved?
She was put on a treatment authority. If psychosis is 'other factors' then sure, there was.
I haven't but my parents have on 2 occasions, both time it was my late grandfather. Both are mentally sound too.
First time, my Mum was in bed and she also felt a hand on her arm as it squeezed her. She then felt like someone shook her to wake her up. She saw a figure in their bedroom door. No, their house was not broken into. No, their doors were not open. The house was secure.
Second time, was when my Nanna was gravely ill in hospital. My dad thought he heard a noise in their lounge room so he went to investigate. He saw shadowly figures. One spoke up and said "We're here for Nancy (my Nanna)." Dad went back to bed. Early the next day, my Nanna passed. My sister and nephew have also had interactions with my grandfather, but he hasn't been seen since my Nanna passed.
A lot of people are saying not to trust psychics and I agree. But I trust my parents, sister and nephew. They have no reason to lie about something like this.
I am not psychic. I do not have readings done. I do not believe in the afterlife. I am not religious. I do not have Bi-Polar and have never had a mental health assessment. I am of clear mind. But I do believe our dearly departed stay around us for a reason. Whether its to protect us or they are waiting for their one true love. They don't mean us any harm.
Did the Mediums give you any advice as to what to do to help the spirit move on and how to help her? Maybe you could see if anyone is available to do a house clearing if the spirit is bothering you. You can also call upon God, Jesus and the Archangels to help the spirit transition over
