3 year old boy toilet training help?

My son has just turned three and has zero interest in potty training. Ive tried rewards, special undies with his fave cartoons on them, praising him up majorly, going in with daddy/brother - nothing seems to help! Does anyone have any suggestions or should i just let him be and get it in his own time? Its super irritating because he is a very capable 3 year old ...

In my experience some kids never develop an interest and so that old saying of let them decide when for a number of children could mean you are waiting until they have started school. Firstly I would get him checked over for any reason why he isn't showing any interest as most kids at least show some interest when mum or dad go.

I've just been through this with my son he is currently 3.5 yrs. I ended up having him checked for any issues uti, problems with bladder even did an ultrasound on him. We ended up taking him to a developmental pediatrician he recommended an old school toilet training book called "boss of my bladder" we have implemented these strategies and they seem to be working.

Wait until the weather is warmer (September) & stay home for 3 days. Undies only, no negative feedback, every time he goes take him straight to the toilet & give his positive rewards for anything that makes it in the bowl. Don't give him an option, it won't be easy as he's a bit older now & likely to resist but don't go back to nappies during the day for any reason.
