Breast Pump

Im after advice on which breast pump should i buy? Really appreciate pros n cons of both manual and automatic ones and the feedback from ladies who have used both. And if i can have the brand name too, it will reduce my stress further. Thanks :-)

Medella Swing (automatic)
I would only get a manual if you can't afford the automatic or if you want to pump somewhere without power (they go through batteries fast). If you get a second hand machine you can get new parts that touch milk or breast.
I had a close to nature pump but it didn't work at all for me.

I had both manual and automatic in avent. I preferred the auto it got a lot more milk out faster, it also came with a battery pack aswell as a power pack. The manual was ok but I found my hand got tired before I got the amount of milk I needed.

I had the auto madela swing and I had to use it to re boost my supply post surgery, it was fantastic. It's expensive but worth it!

I bought a Spectra s2 Double electric and it's awesome. Very reasonably priced too. You'll need to get a bra so you can go hands free, I just bought a 3 pack of crop top style bras from Target and cut holes where the breast shield goes. Good luck!

I have never had luck with getting milk out with a manual pump. Go for electric if you can. I used tomme tippee closer to nature (I think it's closer to nature), but it was definitely tommee tippee

I hated the automatic Tommee Tippee one, it was so slow!!! Only used it twice and gave it away, massive waste of money. The manual Tommee Tippee was fine, compact, easy to clean, etc. I've heard the Medella Swing automatic is excellent if you have your heart set on auto.
