Looking for advice:
My 4 year old little boy has been toilet trained for over two years. He has now started pooing in the bath and blaming the cat. His behaviour has changed too he screams at us constantly when not getting his own way. I'm at my wits end! He changed day care about 3 months ago and it seems to be going well. I'm terminally ill and can't have him with me 24/7 due to hospital commitments but his father is great with him and his sister and they never go without and cuddles and praise is given wherever possible. Why would he regress suddenly with the toilet issue?

It sounds like you all have a lot going on. He can't express how he is feeling about all the changes going on in his life so it's possible he is acting out because of all of that. I think pooing in the bath and throwing tantrums in his mind is a great way to get attention plus the anger he must feel at you being sick. I know that's not what you all need at this time and perhaps it's time to draw down on any services you could access that you aren't already. I don't know what illness you have but if it has an organisation perhaps contacting them for advice would be a great start.
