Hi IM's
I was just wonder if any mums out there have had a breast augmentation....
I have have a 1 year old and do not plan on anymore children.
Bub will be roughly 2 at surgery time.
So what I'm wondering is...,
What was recovery like ?
How long did you need help caring for your child/children eg: partner having time off work ect....
Any other information would also be appreciated
Please no horror story's or negative comments. I have my reasons for this surgery and I know I'm doing it for me and no one else.
Thank you heaps ladies

A friend had breast reduction and it was 6 weeks before she was functioning normally. Wouldn't have been able to pick up a child in that time.
My SIL had one & was out if action for about 6 weeks & couldn't exercise for 3 months! She had two weeks of bed rest & it was very painful & swollen. Looks great now though 8 months later!
I had a BA 8 months ago. I had absolutely zero pain, no bullshit, I just felt like the Tinman because I was so stiff. I took Panadeine Forte before bed for 3 days and that was to keep me comfortable when I woke otherwise I couldnt roll out of bed on my own. I was alone with a 1 and 3 year old from day one and had no problem whatsoever. My best friend helped me wash my armpits in the shower on the first day because I couldnt lift my arms, but thats all the help I needed. You're not meant to drive for 7 days, I did because I had no choice (sssh!) and was lifting my two after the first week, also a no no but I did it very slowly and carefully and started on the couch.
Everyone is different but I had not a single issue!
I went through The Cosmetic Institute in Parramatta! Surgery was $5,990 and I could not recommend them enough! I have the most recent rating on their fb page. Have a read! Good on you for doing it too! Contact me on fb if you want more info x
Any recommendations on good surgeons in Qld. I would love to have it done but want someone with a good reputation & wouldn't know where to start for that
