Hi mummies, I wrote in a couple of weeks ago, asking about other mummies experiences with getting a child's passport. I am still having trouble getting this passport for my 4 yr old. It doesn't matter how many legal documents I sign, they will not believe me when I say that her "father" has never met or communicated with her, and there are no court orders and no child support being paid because I was given an exemption. I even provided a copy of the divorce papers with him stating she isn't his child and he is not listed on the birth certificate. I have been told that it is because I was married to him when she was born and that is why I am having trouble getting the passport. Have any other mummies been in the same position, ie, been married at the time, father has never had contact etc, and gotten the passport. I am at the end of my rope. Help!!!!!!!!!

If you are still having trouble and haven't done so yet, get legal advice. The fact that you were married making things very complex.
Hi, yes, so i am being told by them. Seeing a lawyer on Monday for help with this. I am at my wits end.
No advice, just a hug.
Thankyou. That is so lovely of you. Xx
