How early do you see your baby's heartbeat?

Hi Imperfect Mummies, I am 7 weeks pregnant with my first baby! Go me!
I have my first scan next week (at the 8 week mark) and I was just wondering if any of you saw the heartbeat at the first scan? If not, when did you see it? Thanks :)

You can see the babies heart beat from 5 weeks on usually. Don't worry if they can't see it though, I had a friend who couldn't see the heartbeat until 10 weeks due to the position of baby or something. Good luck....enjoy this special time!

I saw my daughters heartbeat at my first scan (6 weeks) and my sons heartbeat at my second scan (8 weeks), first scan at 6 weeks with him showed nothing, but he was just taking his time :-)
