Hello
My 10 year old son is a dribbler. To the point where his Tshirt can be saturated in minutes of putting it on.
Some days it pours out and other days it’s not as bad.
We have been under the care of an ENT since he was a toddler for this issue but we are not getting anywhere and we have exhausted all possible ENT options that our specialist can think of.
He has three rounds of unsuccessful Botox injections. He has had his tonsils out, adenoids and grommets. He has done speech pathology, physio and OT.
We are desperate. He is getting teased at school, the dribble has at times a terrible odour and I just don’t know where else to go. We’ve had second, third and forth opinions from other ENTs with no luck. Clearly this is either not an ENT issue or it’s just unfixable.
Does anyone else have an older child with the same issue? I just want to fix this for my little boy but we literally don’t know what else to do.
Any practical help would be so appreciated.
We are on the Gold Coast but happy to travel within reason. It’s affecting his emotional well being the older he gets and I need this to stop for him.
Thank you x

I have not experienced anything like this.
But i know when i chew gum my mouth gets really dry. Perhaps see how he goes chewing gum, it might help to keep his mouth more dry.
It might not help though, i have no real advice sorry.
