Hi ladies,
My question is in regards to my nearly 3 year old son. He is extremely violent. But if background info, there is no violence in my home.
He is so mean. He screams at the top of his lungs when something doesn’t go his way, like ear piercing screams, he hits, he bites, he scratches, he chokes. He constantly refuses anything. 90% of the time his answer to everything is no.
I’ve tried time outs (just gets up and runs off), smacking (not hard, painful snacks and he just smacks me back), I’ve tried talking to him nicely (just screams or tries to hurt me).
He’s violent towards his school teachers, his grandparents, his uncles, aunties, cousins, brother (especially, he will just go and try hurt him for no reason. He even will say “I’m going to hurt him” out of nowhere and will try track him down in the house to hurt him.
He has always had a bad temper for as long as I can remember. But I think this goes beyond normal.
10% of the time he’s a loving little boy who wants cuddles, tells me he loves me and can be sweet. If he sees me cry he will come over for a kiss and a cuddle but majority of the time he’s angry.
Help please!
