15 months and still no teeth..

15 months and still no teeth..

My youngest is 15months this week and still doesn’t have any teeth. She’s shown obvious signs of teething for months but nothing has come through yet. Is this normal? Are some kids just late with teething? My first child had first teeth come through at 8months so this is all new to me.
TIA xx

My first Ma teeth came through at 14 months, didn't loose any until he was almost 7 either. If you're concerned see your dentist. They'll be able to help you with it.

Well I’m glad I’m not the only one. I really thought she would have had some by now. I might take her to the dentist when I go and ask them. Thanks so much for your reply.

Oh goodness! My first child had first teeth at 4 months. I remember with our second when he only had 6 teeth at 1 year I was like what the hell is wrong?! lol. I'm sure she's just a late teether but maybe consult a paediatric dentist or ask your MACH nurse?

By 15 months my eldest had most of his teeth, so at this point I’m pretty sure I’m going crazy haha. I’ve just moved states so don’t have contact with my MACH nurse any more, I think I may just take her along to my dentist appointment and ask them. The doctors I’ve asked about it haven’t seemed to be much help.
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it.

My youngest daughter took ages to pop her first tooth, she was 2 and still only had the top 2 and bottom 2. After her second birthday she got about 8 teeth over a period of about 8 weeks (Christ almighty that was a fun few months 😂😂😂). I expect your little one will be similar, getting a whole heap at once!
Definitely see a dentist if you're concerned though, I know sometimes they have to help the tooth break through the skin.

Oh my😱 A lot of people have said to expect a few at once. I just thought she’d have at least one by now haha. I’m going to take her along to the dentist when I go next and ask them their thoughts. Thank you kindly for taking the time to respond!

My second took ages for hers as well, two of her front teeth were fused together. Take her to the dentist if you're worried, they could be stuck.

Omg, I’ve never heard of that before. I’m definitely going to take her along to my next dentist appointment and ask their thoughts. Thank you so much for your response. Kindly appreciated.

Every child is different. If you're concerned, see a dentist.

My late partner was born with a tooth. So maybe your child is at the other end of the extremes
