Hi everyone, I apologise in advance if this doesn't make a lot of sense.. but to be honest, I don't really know what's going on.
First things first, I have PCOS, and don't have regular periods. On average, I get them every 35-45 days. I haven't had a normal period for over 3 years.
My last period ended around the 14th of May. My doctor is yet to establish whether or not I currently ovulate. I had unprotected sex on the 20th and 21st of May.
Tonight (28th May) I have mild cramping, mostly on my left side, and brown discharge, only when I wipe. I first noticed it about an hour ago. I am off my food and feeling run down and horrible.
Could this be implanation bleeding? I have looked online and did a random test and it told me after answering questions that it couldn't be, because I wasn't expecting a period in the next few days.
I am completely open to starting a family - I am just terrified after 2 miscarriages, one almost 3 years ago and one around a year ago.
I am terrified.. I was completely open to pregnancy happening when the time was right, and haven't been "trying" because I find it too stressful.. but that doesn't make this possibility any less scary!
I haven't told anyone about this issue and was hoping for some advice or to hear from mums that have been in the same boat.

It could be, but it might not be either. Every woman's bodies are different. It could also be a strange period because your periods are not regular. Sometimes with these things you just have to wait and see!
It could be just unusual period commencement for you given the history you have outlined. I have a little bit of brown discharge often in the day or two before my period actually starts. Don't overthink it and stress yourself out...just wait and see what the next few days bring!
Its hard to tell as your periods are so irregular. But when I fell pregnant I had cramping on my left side (meaning my left ovary produced the egg and was releasing the hormones to it thus the cramping) and I had the same discharge as you which was implantation bleeding. What other symptoms do you have? Its so hard as pregnancy as its similar symptoms to your period. Have you taken a test yet?
