Yes my husband had it, and no there were no positive changes for him (but for his parents and teachers there was). He was put on strong medication and felt like a walking zombie. His family rave about how it changed him for the better but he is devastated on what they did.

Neuro feedback doesn’t involve medication

Sorry, didn’t explain properly. He had it, they thought there were good results however he did end up on medication anyways in the end. He resents the fact he ended up medicated and thinks the neurofeedback was worthwhile

Thank you for this comment. My daughter has recently been diagnosed with ADHD and I have been agonising over whether to give her medication or not. I think I will now go with my instinct and not give it to her. I will have to put in a lot more effort parenting but sounds like it is worth it to keep her off the meds. God bless you and your husband

Honestly, he cries when he talks about it because it affected him so much. He just hated who he was on them and they made him feel worthless - like he just wasn't his true self. Good luck with your daughter :)
