I have a 10 month old son who is absolutely amazing! However over the last month he has turned into the spawn of satan!
He now screams for me to be in the same room as him (always) however he doesn't want to be held just me in eyesight 24/7. He screeches really high pitched when ever he is aggitated or not getting his way. He has stopped wanting hugs or affection which is killing me.
He was such a happy little content boy now he screams or shrieks most of the day. He arches to be put down if held to long. I really am at a loss, I just wish I knew if it was a faze or how I can help him.

When did he start solids? What kinds of foods does he eat?
Keep in mind that food can massively impact a child/babies behaviour. Or at least my kids turn into vicious animals when they’ve been eating/drink too much junk. Or it could be an intolerance to something.
Other wise, could it be not getting enough sleep? And in a cycle of over tired?
If you’re worried, take him to your GP. It could be nothing but you never no.
Yep they do that. Just when youre getting confident.
It is a normal developmental phase at that age to have separation anxiety. Google it and get some strategies. Play hide and seek. Talk or sing when youre out of eyesight. Reinforce that while he cant see you, youre still there and will come back.
Totally normal. Just gotta ride through it unfortunately.
