When did everyone get their daughters ears pierced???? I had differing opinions from friends, one saying after 2 cause they might pull on their ears while teething. Another friend saying the sooner the better as when they are young (6 months) they aren't to bothered by them and so don't play with them so much and as such less chance of infection.

cousin got her daughter done as soon as she got out of hospital and she never pulled them out as she had studs
Wait until she is old enough to decide she wants them. I loved getting mine done at age 6. Babies with ears pierced look really creepy.
I had my daughters ears done at 3 months with small studs & numbing cream. She didn't feel it and we have had no problems with them at all. She is now 10y and is glad we had them done and she doesn't remember it... She dosnt like pain lol :-). Each to their own but my daughter & I are happy with my choice. :-)
We have decided to let our daughter have hers done when she asks, but not before age 6.
My Daughter had her ears pierced when she 8 :-)
got my daughters now 13 done at 6 weeks old ..she never pulled them out while teething and never got an infection as she was to young to know different .... she cant remember getting them done but loves having her ears pierced
