I'm 7 weeks post partum after a second cesarean and I have a question regarding my first period afterwards.
I'm not breast feeding, I breast fed for approximately a month with zero success (please no hate on that)
I'm not on birth control.
I did have to take the morning after pill approximately 4 weeks ago due to condom breaking and please no comments on that either.
My question is, I am yet to have a period, I bled for about 4-5 weeks.
In the last couple of days I've had lower back pain, and cramping a bit more severe then my usual period pain. And tonight after using the toilet I wiped and there was about a 5cent clot surrounded by mucus (very very similar to mucus plug/bloody show)
Just curious if anyone else has expierenced this?
I will of course mention this to a doctor or go further if required at this point I'm just sitting on it to see what happens.

Your period can take a while to come back after you've had a baby, your cycle can be quite irregular until your hormones settle, and you can get all kinds of weird discharge. It all sounds like it's in the realms of normal.
If you're concerned, don't put off seeing your gp though. Honestly, you'll only worry about it until you know for sure and then you'll feel silly for not going sooner lol (trust me I know from experience haha).
