I came off the pill 5 months ago in preparation to try for a baby next year. Since being off the pill I've been tracking my cycle via an app and it's been a clockwork 28day cycle.... until now. I am currently 5 days late but all home pregnancy tests have been negative. My partner and I haven't been using protection and we have a healthy sex life and we're "active" in that department on potential ovulation days. I've been to the doctor today and had my bloods taken but due to work I won't be able to get my results for 5 days so was wondering what other people's experiences were. Could I be pregnant even though the home tests have been negative?? I'm definetely bloated and have a heap of new pimples like I had with my first son. Hate playing the waiting game x

Yes it's always possible to be pregnant if you've had sex even with a negative hpt. Or it could be something else. We really can't tell you. You'll just have to wait unfortunately.
Yes you definitely could be! Could you not call the practice nurse for results when they are ready? Most practices give results over the phone. Good luck!
Thank you. Unfortunately my results will be in on Wednesday and it's a public holiday here so the practice is closed. My doctor will only give them over the phone if she gives them to me and she doesn't work Thursdays. So Friday it is.... quietly hopeful :-) x
Yes you could be! I had an implantation bleed at work one day and i wasnt sure if i could be pregnant or not..i wasnt using protection so i decided to go to the drs and get a blood test..the blood test came back negative..4 weeks later i found out i was 5 weeks pregnant so infact i was actually pregnant but the blood test didnt pick it up because i was inly about 1 week pregnant..good luck
