Im sorry! I never wanted to be that woman. The woman who asks for baby names when there are a million to choose from but im pregnant (obvs) and my partner and I cannot choose a single girls name! Boys name is already set in stone. Girls? No hope, and we've read every book and webpage you can think of, to no avail.
We dont want "plain" names please, we like different, interesting, original names but with easy spelling and none that are currently popular :)
Throw them at meeeeeeeeeee! X

I work in a school. Some names I'd recommend to stay away from are:
Isabella, Isabelle and every other spelling
Harper
Ella
Olivia
Charlotte
Sophie
These names are so incredibly popular in the school I'm at and they all are known as Sophie K and Olivia P for example.
Some names I'd recommend are Harmony, Melody, Elise and Aurora.
Copy that! I figure if they're popular now, they'll be known by the first letter of their last name come school time. I will edit to add, not currently popular lol. Thank you x
No problem. Good luck choosing a name!
Have you had a look at the current popular names lists for things to avoid haha? I have had the name Aurora picked out since I was young and I've just named my little girl Aurora but it is currently 9th....
Sierra, Ava, Stella, Katie, Erin, Willow, Kayleigh, Alexis. Have you got any favourite characters from books you've read
Two I love there, thank you! X
Just one piece of advice, steer away from the popular 'right now' names. I know 3 people who named their daughters Khaleesi for example (makes me cringe every time I hear it lol).
I always quite liked Darci/Darcie for a girl. I also like Nova, Paityn, Avalon, Lucah, Rylee, Vanna, Indy, Kaya, Lainey, Dakota, Luella, Brielle, Amalie, Evannah and I heard the name Natoria the other day and I thought it was really unique.
I really love traditional, uncommon names too, like: Maggie, Daisy, Belle, Edith (Eadie for short), Evelyn, Heather, Beth, Vivienne, Natalia, Josie, Gabrielle, Eleanor, Matilda (Tilly for short), Victoria, Katerina.
I know someone who named their daughter Khaleesi as well!
There's going to be an army of Khaleesi's starting school in the next few years lol!
I will never understand the Khaleesi thing hey? I saw an article on the actor (forgotten her name) and they disclosed how many girls across the world were named Khaleesi after the release of GoT. It was staggering :/
The actor's name is Emilia Clarke wich I quite like :D
But I don't understand why people chose Khaleesi, which is her title, and not Daenerys , wich is her name...
I love the name Audrey but my partner won't let me use it.
Im the OP and I love it too, only my best friend named her daughter Audrey!
Could always go with Aubrey/Aubree. Slightly different and more modern.
I love Eva, Lila, Lola, Evie, Arlo, Arlee, Arlea, Lucy, Ocean, Oceania. Picking a girls name is hard work. Good luck.
Ocean!!!!! Thats always been my pick for a girls name and middle name for a boy but my partner wont have a bar of it. Spewing >:(
Aubrey, Sienna, Serena, Octavia, Kendall, Lillian, Grace, Scarlett.
Brielle, Hazel, Delilah, Jacinta, Ashlyn, Madison.
I have Cadence and Xanthea, I haven't met any others yet, definitely none at our schools.
Starting to see a lot of Iris's and Ivy's come through though, seems to be the new favourites in my town, would avoid them if I had to choose again (and they've always been on my list along with Mabel, Constance and Celeste )
I know one of each, exact same spellings!
I love names that are not in vogue but not out there either-Ariana, Imogen, grace, hope, Sophie, Elizabeth, willow, rose, violet, Ruby, jade, Skye
I'm curious to know what the boys name is that you have picked out? Will you be finding out the sex, or keeping it as a surprise ?
