My husband and I have been trying to conceive for well over 18 months with no success. I'm 37, so not getting any younger!
We have both had all the blood tests, ultrasounds etc and come back clear.
I have one child already so know that it is possible.
My GP has suggested Clomid but he is unable to prescribe and has referred me to a fertility specialist.
Has anyone had any success with Clomid?

I tried for 5 years to get pregnant. I did multiple rounds of IVF and never got pregnant. I used Clomid combined with Metformin to control my PCOS and I was pregnant first go. I did it again 13 months later and pregnant first go again. After 5 long years of heartache. My trick was combining both medications though as I had PCOS. When I did Clomid on its own it didn't work for me. Good luck and I know you will be a mum again.
I did a few cycles of clomid with no luck before turning to IVF. After 5 yrs and IVF I fell pregnant with my first child. My second was also IVF. When we decided to try for #3 we tried clomid again as we wouldn't have been able to afford more IVF. 1 cycle and I fell pregnant.

My oldest is a clomid baby. It works great. But it did play with my hormones a lot . Let's just say - I was a massive bitch. We had even decided that the side effects , were to much and were not sure if we would do another cycle of clomid .
Yes 2 pregnancys, conceived on 1st pregnancy first month. Second pregnancy 6 months.

Yes I had 2 kids using clomid. 1st one came after trying ourselves for 2 years, worked 1st month using clomid. The 2nd one took 4 or 5 attempts using Clomid. Good luck!
