Tired mummy and baby

SOS! Please Help!
My daughter is 11 months old and continuously waking at night for feeds. Some nights she is waking and then staying awake for up to two hours and it usually seems to be the nights before I have to work! She is fully breastfed and is doing reasonably well on solids. She settles herself to sleep during the day and at bedtime. It's just through the nights which suck! Some nights she is waking 4-5 times. Last night I fed her and every time I would put her back into the cot she would wake up. I'm at wits end. I would be fine if it was just once a night! I'm starting to get blisters on my nipples from the frequent feeding. She is probably teething but sleeps well from 7pm-10.30/11pm, which makes me think it's just habit. I'm asking mummies to please offer any tips and tricks or solutions they have used to help their bubs sleep! I'm even considering giving up breastfeeding - which I love - but it's just taking a ridiculous toll on me ?

Normal. All normal. I re introduced the dummy at this age so I could get some sleep.

Sounds like she is craving comfort, if you work she'S probably using that time to get her mummy fix. I was going to ask about a dummy too, perhaps it's not a bad idea or will she settle if you let her sleep with you with a dummy in, rather than damaging your nipples further? Good luck, sleepless nights are the worst. (I have a 2 week old baby - so I understand). ;-)

I was once in your shoes..... then one evening, I was sitting breastfeeding my baby when a Chinese (full old school Chinese) came and sat down. She said "how are you" I said "pretty tired". She started laughing and shaking her head and said something to the effect of "oh you western woman, you eat your salad and you diet and you wonder why you need to breastfeed so much". I was like "What the? Please tell me more!" She said that where she was from, they ate food that made their milk thick and dense, and filled the babies tummy up and our western diet, the milk was watery. She said the secret was BONE BROTH!!! Full of nutrients and minerals. If you're a vegetarian I have NO idea what you could do. But if you are not, maybe try a week on Bone Broths and see if it helps?!!!
