I personally didn't have any side effects on Zoloft.

But you are best to either read the printout in the box, ask your pharmacist for a printout or look it up online.

I've had side effects with other antidepresssants which usually passed after a week or two.

If you are experiencing side effects speak to your prescribing doctor or pharmacist.

The only thing I noticed was it burned my threat going down and I needed to eat before taking them :)

There will be a piece of paper inside the box of tablets with all the side effects.

Side effects will differ with each person but common initial side effects can include feeling nauseated, feeling woozy/out of it, feeling tired or alternatively feeling wired, sleeplessness, dry mouth. Long term side effects can include weight loss or gain, sleeplessness, dry mouth, decreased libido, suicidal thoughts, dry mouth.

Give it a good 6 weeks, it may agree with you well and you have none or minimal side effects. If the side effects are too much you can ask your dr to change your meds.
