OCD and children

Bit of a funny question,

If you had slight/full OCD before kids, how the hell do you deal with it now? lol my bubs only little but am stressing now how I like to be in control all the time and how difficult it's going to be when bubs older

I really struggled for a while. With help to manage my anxiety (OCD is a form of anxiety) I learnt better coping mechanisms and strategies, thank you psychologist!

Although there are some things I did in setting up my home that really helped too.
This might sound hardcore but I actually boxed up some precious items because I knew I'd be stressing about them. I was able to bring them out when my child was older.
I was also able to create a sanctuary, which is my bedroom. That's the one room in the house that is mine and perfect! If I need somewhere to escape to that's where I go. It immediately calms me :) my son has known it's an invite only room since he was a toddler.

But the biggy, don't be afraid to seek help.
