Early pregnancy worries

Hi ladies
I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second child. I first saw my doc on the 9th of May and was sent to do a blood test. She called me the following day, slightly concerned about how low my hCG levels were. I have been monitoring them since, and they have been rising, but very slowly, and they are very low.
9/5 : 465
11/5: 666
15/5: 1009
17/5: 1120
When the doc called with my results on the 17/5, she said that the pregnancy was simply not viable, and suggested I organise a scan in the next few days to see how big the baby was in order to decide how to move the impending miscarriage along (ie a tablet or a D & C).
So this morning I had the ultrasound. The sonographer measured bub at 5 weeks 4 days. He found the gestational sac, the yolk, fetal pole and even a tiny hearbeat (83 beats per minute). He said as far as he was concerned, everything looked fine.
So, I'm just wondering if there are any OB's on the page who can shed any light on this, or any mumma's out there who have experienced something similar and are happy to share positive or negative outcomes.
Thanks guys

Can you see another dr? Get more than one opinion?

I'd give it another week and see how things are progressing. They are low HCG levels however everyone's rise at a different rate. Don't make a decision until you're sure there is no chance of life!!

Hey I had very low hcg levels with my now 2.5yr old son, so much so that they measured that I was 5 weeks along instead of 9 based on the levels.
Fast forward to my second pregnancy and the hcg levels were bang on. Best of luck to you x
