Hi ladies my 16 year old has recently been diagnosed with reflux. Hes been unwell off and on until we found out what was wrong. He constantly worries about his health. He eats alot better and talk quiet a bit about how he feels as he tells me he doesnt feel like himself, is tired, doesnt really go out and is happy to stay home with me. Hes usually pretty sociable and a very likeable kid. He stresses about every lump and bump and asking me if this is normal. I feel like he lives in constant worry even though he has been to the docs and been reassured and have a few family members that suffer from reflux. Im thinking he could have anxiety? Has anyone got any advice? I miss my easy going stress less child. I just want him to be happy. He has got a follow up docs app this week

I'd be discussing anxiety with the doctor. Anxiety won't help his reflux either.
Most Definitley could be anxiety , I thought I was dieing (literally) 8 months ago , just turns out the symptoms I was experiencing (very severe) is Generalised Anxiety Disorder where a person is just anxious in general all the time . !
Sounds like anxiety. My 17 yo has autism and he stresses over any little bump scratch or cough
