I will be 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and the doctor is concerned about my babies growth. He is measuring rather small, and although i was a small, hubby was an average size baby and our first born was an average size baby. She is concerned that baby isn't growing as well as he should be. I am going in 2 days a week for the next 3 weeks for bubs growth to be monitored. If during those appointments, it shows that bub still isnt growing as he should be, then he will be born before or on 36 weeks. If the doctor is happy with his growth during those appointments, then i will be closely monitored until bub is born. Im a little worried, has anyone ever experienced a pregnancy where bub wasn't growing as should...and if you have experienced a birth by the 36 week mark, how was bubs recovery

My little one was born at 33+5 due to spontaneous labour. Spent 8 days in special care nursery and no dramas what so ever. Perfectly healthy now. Born 4lbs 10oz. Now a healthy 16kg 3.5 year old. Good luck.
I had my first bubs at 36 weeks. It was an emergency c-section. The baby wasn't growing and the fluid looked on the low side. My placenta aged too quickly , when I was opened up there was literally no amniotic fluid and he had to come out. I remember being so scared but it all turned out ok. He needed no special care, he was just very hungry. He breastfeed for 2 hours but needed formula for extra nutrition (I really had to fight for that), so I did both breastfeeding and formula. He's now a happy five year old big boy!
I know you'll be so worried but it's good that they're keeping a close eye on it and it's totally ok to have a baby at 36 weeks. 38 weeks is officially full term. Good luck xo
