You could build a good relationship with your GP. Even if they aren't going to be your primary care giver they can be really good at answering questions checking up on you in between etc. I didn't receive an exact due date when I had my son either. I hadn't been tracking my periods etc and it's not an exact science. It was frustrating. Are you going public or private?
if you are worried, contact your doctor. They will be able to put your fears at rest :)
Also it is very common to not have an exact due date, especially at the start of the pregnancy.
You really should speak to your doctor.. ask for the 12 week scan for downs if its not to late. A scan will put your mind at ease so I would just ask for one even if you need to pay for it. But losing weight early in pregnancy is common. Bub isnt really gaining weight yet just forming so the time you will put on weight is between 5-9 months. If you have changed you eating habits I would say it is normal to lose some weight.
Good luck
I lost 15kgs pregnant purely because for once my hormones were balanced.
I was same with first, freaked out the whole way. Go to dr n ask for a check because your worried. They will feel n mighT do test or order for 12 week scan.
Honestly its normal n as i said pregnant is only time i can lose wieght with pcos
I really just want to make sure my baby is sill alive and health it does worrie me a lot I have had two kids but my hormones were fine and I was only 17and 18
The 12 week scan is not a standard ultrasound that everyone SHOULD have. Technically there needs to be an indication such as 'increased risk (of Down Stndrome)' or 'Advanced Maternal Age (mother is over 37)'. In addition, the fetus needs to be between 12 weeks and 13 weeks, 6 days gestation.
Alternatively, you can still have an ultrasound but you pay the full cost with nothing back from Medicare.
So, if you want this scan, I'd recommend getting a referral ASAP :)
Having said that, weight loss in the first trimester is quite common!
